We’re a husband-and-wife team with over 20 years of experience bringing fun, colour, and daft laughter to children’s parties across Edinburgh, East Lothian, and West Lothian. From birthday bashes to community events, we make kids laugh and parents relax. No stress. No chaos. Just joyful, memory-filled parties that everyone enjoys — even the grown-ups!
Hi, I’m Bryden – but most people know me as Mighty Mac. I bring the daftness, the dancing, and the balloons! Whether it’s a giraffe, a dinosaur, or a wearable jetpack, I love seeing kids’ faces light up when they get a balloon made just for them. I’ve twisted balloons and run games at birthday parties, weddings, shopping centres, gala days, and school events — anywhere that needs a burst of colour, energy, and fun. As well as balloon modelling, I host classic party games (always inclusive — no eliminations here!) and run dancing competitions that get everyone involved and laughing. "We don’t just show up and perform — we join in, match the vibe, and keep the fun flowing.”
What started as a bit of fun in amateur dramatics turned into a passion — and in 2001, Funny Faces was born (now Mighty Mac & Louise!). Since then, I’ve painted thousands of sparkly butterflies, roaring tigers, superheroes, pirates, and the occasional terrifying zombie (complete with special effects wax!). I use only professional, skin-safe face paints from trusted brands like Kryolan, Snazaroo, and Grimas, and everything washes off easily with soap and water. I typically paint 10–12 faces per hour, depending on age and design complexity — from fast favourites to creative challenges. Whatever the request, I’m happy to bring it to life… with a little glitter magic, of course!
Mighty Mac & Louise have been providing trusted children’s entertainment since 2001, with a focus on balloon modelling, face painting, and party games for kids aged 4–7. Based near Edinburgh, we regularly perform at birthdays, fairs, nursery events, and celebrations across East Lothian, West Lothian, and surrounding areas including Musselburgh, Haddington, Tranent, Livingston, and more. If you're looking for fun, reliable kids’ entertainers who bring energy, creativity, and over 20 years of experience to your party — we’d love to hear from you. 📞 Call Louise on 01875 811387 or message us on Facebook to check availability.
