The party was perfect! I couldn't have been happier and the children were engaged the whole way through. It combined all the themes you could want: sporty, dance and traditional party with the added bonuses of a magic show, balloon-modelling and face-painting.

The children were really active most of the time and the timing of the magic show at the end helped everyone to wind down. There were laughs all the way through with Mac's commentary and beautiful face-painting for those that wanted. Louise is a really talented artist. To sum up: our Mighty Mac and Louise party was a total hit with everyone: boys, girls and adults and I whole-heartedly recommend them.

An absolutely fantastic beautifully orchestrated non-stop fun experience. So much fun in fact that all the parents decided to stay! 30 children 2 1/2 hours and not a single tear, argument or moment of ?down time?. I really can'?t praise Bryden and Louise enough. Even the older children loved it (up to 10 yrs) with the special effects make-up and personalised balloon gifts. I?m booking them every year (as are most of the other parents in Grace?s class!) so get in quick!!

Kids absolutely loved Mighty Mac & Louise....Louise's face painting is AMAZING and didn't take more than a few minutes for each application. Mac has the kids in AWE of his balloons and manages to keep all kids focused on each party game. Thoroughly enjoyed the party as did the stress free parents! 9th April - Macmerry, Tylers 4th Birthday
Many many thanks for providing the entertainment for our son Tyler's 4th birthday party. Everyone had a fantastic time and all the parents who stayed said that your patience with the kids and ability to keep them all interested was amazing.

Tyler has become quite fond of his octopus balloon and keeps on wearing his medal telling everyone he sees that he won. Thanks again and we hope to see you for many more birthday partys in future.

Treasure Island Competition for World Book Day - 4th March 2011
We have now used Parties and Events for two Edinburgh Primary school competitions, organised by the Scottish Centre for the Book at Edinburgh Napier University.

The qualtity and creativity of the face painting Louise is able to produce in a short space of time has been the best I have ever seen.  Mighty mac is wonderful with the kids entertaining and helpful, whilst making a balloon hat, wand, sword, animal or just about anything! 

On both occasions they have arrived in plenty of time to set up and have a very professional approach.  They also went the extra mile providing us with themed music and a PA system.  I would recommend them, they will bring your event to life!

Christening Party - 18 April 2010
Apologies that I have taken so long to post this feedback, however I wanted to thank you both personally for making my daughter Grace's Christening not only memorable for us, but for everyone else who was there.

The children had a great time as did the adults. Mighty Mac was professional and kept all children from 0-13 entertained, and Louise's face-painting skills were out of this world....we had many tears that night when it had to be washed off. You are fantastic and we will use you again. Thanks again.

Many thanks for another great party for Cameron on Saturday.
He said to me after, it was the best party he had ever been to. Which was great, taking us, his family, by surprise as he is a shy wee boy and never talks to strangers. But you had him helping you and laughing, and we have some fab pictures of him.
You also did really well with the wee boy who would not sit down or do as he was told.
Even my parents enjoyed the show, as well as the children and myself. Bryden, its so great the way you take over the party and have children enjoying themselves.
Not forgetting Louise, the face painting was amazing . It really makes the party too and the kids love it .

Joint 8yr old and 9yr old Birthday Party - 28th February 2010
Bryden (Mighty Mac) and Louise were fantastic. They controlled the event from start to finish, I can't believe I'd so much time on my hands. Bryden captivated the kids attention from the start with a mixture of party games and magic tricks (and more) And Louise literally didn't have time to stop as a constant queue of kids snaked away from her table awaiting to have their face painted.

I just wanted to drop you a line to say...... Thank you both so much for a fantastic birthday party. I couldn't have asked for more. Lewis and Grace had such a wonderful day and so did all their friends, all 38 of them! This was their big day and you helped make it very special indeed.

Mighty Mac, you kept them all entertained so brilliantly, the parents all thought you were fab! and Louise, your face painting was absolutely gorgeous, no one wanted to wash it off, apparently some didn't! Your website doesn't do you justice!

All the kids just loved all the balloon shapes and swords to take home. You should have seen the looks i got with the giant balloon spider in the front seat on the way home! Lewis and Grace are still talking about it and so are their friends at school. Thank you so much for giving them party to remember, it was a cracker! cheers.

Ivan's 5th Birthday Party - 4th October 09
Thank you for a fantastic party for Ivan on Sunday. He, and everyone else, had an absolutely brilliant time. All the parents commented on how good it was and how beautifully the face painting had been done. Ivan's dalmatian face was an absolute picture and he and his sister, who had sparkly flowers, wanted to keep their faces painted like that forever!

The balloon modelling, too, was excellent, especially Ivan's horse which he has been riding around the house on since. I wish you could see the photos of all the smiling faces, children's and adult's. You are both to be congratulated on a most wonderful afternoon's entertainment. 40th Birthday Party August 2007
Dear Louise and Bryden, I cannot begin to thank-you for making my 40th Birthday Party special for all the children. It was very important to me that my friends could bring their children and that they weren't just left with a bag of crisps, some chicken nuggets and a carton of Ribena as they fended for themselves.

Being let down at the last minute by another entertainer, it was looking like I would have no entertainment and then I got hold of you! Fitting me in was brilliant, your "show" was exceptional and I do not say that lightly.

I loved the boys coming out of the house saying "they're just doing face painting!", in that special disappointed tone, only my young nephew and boys under 10 have.

"They do bullet holes for the boys AND scars" says I as they turned tail and ran back in...BRILLIANT! The speed and quality of your face painting was phenomenal. Keeping 20 kids quiet and in awe as they waited their turn was unbelievable.

Then there were the balloons...fantastic! But best of all was seeing the two shy 3 year old twins faces and their parents as they came out smiles wide.
Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! I will recommend you and use you again at the first opportunity. I will finish on another thank-you and with this....... Something's just do what they say on the tin then there's Louise and Bryden of Parties and Events they do much more!
